Village news/updates for the District of Umatac

  • MAYOR’S VERIFICATIONS:  Mayor’s Verifications must be requested 24 hours in advance and shall consist of all individuals registered under that address. 
  • PAVILION RESERVATIONS: Playground Pavilions are now CLOSED for reservations due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. These are the pavilions adjacent to the Justice J.G. Taitague Playground Park. Reservation requests to utilize the Umatac Bay Pavilions are accepted via email or in person, must be made two (2) weeks prior to event date, and are based upon availability. Telephone requests will not be honored.  There is a maximum of 25 chairs and 5 tables allowed per pavilion.
  • PUBLIC RESTROOMS:  Restrooms will remain CLOSED as we value your health and safety. By taking these necessary precautions we can flatten the curve against COVID-19.
  • TIRE DISPOSAL: Friday collection of residential tires with or without rims for disposal has resumed. Please place tires curbside and contact the Umatac Mayor’s Office for pick up.
  • WHITE GOODS: White goods are being collected specific to the following: Refrigerators, Water Heaters, Freezers, Washers, Dryers, Stoves and Microwaves. Call the Mayor’s Office with your information and you will be contacted for scheduled pick up date and time. Please do not place white goods curbside. 
  • OFFICE EQUIPMENT: Office equipment will not be lent out to residents due to maintenance assessment and repair other than chairs and tables until further notice. 
  • Residents are reminded to report any suspicious activity to the Guam Police Department.
